As
Wasabi Anime is sort of in a rebirth, phoenix-style stage, I
thought I'd take this opportunity to invite you all to our IRC
channel once again. The feedback I've received in the
past has been that there's some confusion as to how to go
about this. I thought I'd enclose some instructional
information on IRC, and I'll also post this info to our web
page for future reference. (Yes I know Jeff did this
before, but with 91 members, chances are high SOME of them are
new!)
If you use a PC, there is a program called mIRC which
is a decent program to use for Internet Relay Chat.

For Mac
users, there is a (crummy, but available) program called
Ircle.

For Unix/Linux/etc users and
those with shell/telnet/etc accounts, there is a program
called ircii, and it should be mapped (if you're on a shell
account) to simply the command "irc".
Once you have one
of these programs, you will need to connect to a network known
as Undernet. If you are using mIRC, there should be a list of
available Undernet servers. If not, there is a list of servers
available at the Undernet home page.

Once you are connected,
type:
/join #wasabi
and
if someone is around, they'll help you through the
rest.

more than welcome. Chatting is by no means mandatory. But
since quite a few Wasabi Anime people are in IRC already, if
